The purpose of our Sharing and Promotion 2 (SP2) is to foster dialogue and collaboration around the integration of sustainability accounting into education to support the EU’s green transition.
This activity marks the culmination of the Account4GreenEco Project. It will feature engaging roundtables led by prominent voices from academia, major corporations, Big Four accounting firms, and international policy-making institutions on sustainability accounting and reporting. Together, they will explore how to bridge the gap between higher sustainability accounting education and real-world business practices.
SP2 will also showcase the project’s key outcome: the Account4GreenEco online learning platform, developed to promote the integration of sustainability accounting into business and accounting curricula across the European Higher Education Area. The platform aims to equip educators, professionals, and institutions with a tool to accelerate the EU’s green economic transformation.
